It's interesting listening to this album. What could have potentially been East Tiger.

Ryan, for whatever reason, seems to leave off some of his best work from official releases.

Hey there, I am new here but am on Ryan Adams sub-reddit and some other places as well. My friend Smash Addams (who runs the LP reconstruction blog) said this would be a good place to connect with some Ryan Adams folks. I am a fellow musician myself but left the scene a long time ago but have friends still involved. After permanently deleting my facebook many years ago, I am looking to re-connect with fellow music people and all around generally cool individuals. I have quite the collection of rare (un-circulating) Ryan stuff (Sno Kobra, JCN String overdubs), and figured I would post here since I saw the Rat Classics 2 header. Yes, what could have been indeed. From my understanding, there was something like 5 albums worth of material amassed during this time (not including War & Peace, as that was Ryan solo). Allegedly, there was a more "folky" type album created but I have not heard anyone who can confirm. This may be where the acoustic takes of OMG Whatever Etc. and These Girls comes from, as they are featured on Color Bars and those are said to be the "b-sides" from all those sessions. I am really trying to fill in the gaps and gather any intel possible about some of these other lesser-known sessions. I appreciate any info. Feel free to DM me if anyone is willing to chat about some of this stuff. To be clear, I DO NOT SHARE WITH THE PUBLIC, NOR DO I DISCUSS PRIVATE MESSAGES WITH OTHERS.
P.S.: I think that if Ryan was allowed to come out with another trilogy of records, what we would have gotten would have been extremely better than what Easy Tiger is. I view ET as kind of a "Demolition Pt. 2", as it's just a hodgepodge of cherry-picked" songs from all these various sessions. Thanks, take care.
